This course was awesome!! Very easy to follow, very informative, and most of all it has a step-by-step guideline on HOW to start your own credit repair business! I highly recommend this course! I had very little knowledge of the credit industry, but now I feel like an expert. Thank you so much for the creation of this course and especially for the tools you have available to help me start and run my own credit repair company. Much love!!
Of the major credit repair organizations, only Lexington Law has received an A rating from the Better Business Bureau. The Credit People and CreditRepair.com received high ratings from their consumers online, but are not rated by the Better Business Bureau. These companies don’t do anything you can’t do yourself, but they may be worth your money if you’ve got a lot of negative information to remove.
Entrepreneurial Finance is a graduate-level class that examines emerging business ventures and the initial stages of company growth. Online learners are treated to an intensive analysis of the foundation of the private equity industry. The course materials include a list of readings, copies of select lecture notes and the assignment list (though no answers are provided).

The first step to checking your credit reports is to order your free copies. You can order one free credit report from each of the three credit bureaus every year from AnnualCreditReport.com. Be sure to only order your reports from this site. Other sites offering free credit reports might try to sign you up for credit-monitoring services that you might not need.
Make your company indispensable to your client by offering them a holistic service not only in the correction of inaccurate information on their credit score but also educating them on how to raise their credit score, rebuild their credits and also prevent future occurrences of negative items on their credit report. As a professional in this industry, you should be able to know products in the market that will help your clients rebuild their credit and raise their credit score. This will make them indebted to you,and your company’s name will be the first thing that pops up in their mind when they’re in need of assistance with their credit scores. We have provided enough videos and resources in our software that will properly educate you on raising credit score and rebuilding credits. (All training are in video format).
Six videos that will cover everything you need to understand and repair your credit “What credit repair is and how it works”, “Obtaining and understanding your credit reports and scores”, “How to dispute with the credit Bureaus”, “Identity theft disputes and fraud alerts”, “Pay to delete process and strategy (debt negotiation)”, and “legal liabilities, statute of limitations, and advanced dispute tactics”. (All videos available immediately)
The offers that appear on Credit.com’s website are from companies from which Credit.com receives compensation. This compensation may influence the selection, appearance, and order of appearance of the offers listed on the website. However, this compensation also facilitates the provision by Credit.com of certain services to you at no charge. The website does not include all financial services companies or all of their available product and service offerings.
Essentially, credit is the granting of a loan from one party to another, where the second party is not required to reimburse the first party in full immediately, but can repay over a certain set period of time. This is debt, and it affects nearly everyone in the Western world. The first party is always referred to as the creditor or lender, while the second party is the debtor or borrower. Like a relationship between certain fish and sharks, or birds and crocodiles, these two need each other. The lender needs to have someone to lend to, or they cease to exist, so the debtor is their other half, their Yang to the Yin. You probably get the idea.
At this point, it’s up to you. Tell the consumer reporting company to send correction notices to anyone who got your credit report over the past six months. They have to comply with your request. On top of that you can direct the reporting agencies to send that report to anyone who looked into your credit over the last two years if their research was related to your employment.
If you have a number of mistakes that appear in your report, you may want to only include a few disputes at a time. We recommend a maximum of five disputes in a one ltter. This means that you may need to go through several rounds of disputes if you’ve never repaired your credit before. If you do this process regularly, then it typically takes one round, at most.
For instance, your credit reports will list a mortgage loan that you are still paying off as open, including the loan’s current balance, the date you took out the loan and the lender behind the loan. Reports will also list whether you have any late or missed payments on this loan and will list whether the loan is open — meaning you are still paying it off; closed — you’ve finishing paying off the mortgage; or in foreclosure.
The Capital One® Secured Mastercard® offers qualifying cardholders a lower security deposit compared to other secured cards. You will get an initial $200 credit line after making a security deposit of $49, $99, or $200, determined based on your creditworthiness. Typical secured cards require you to deposit an amount equal to your credit limit, so this card has added perks for people who qualify for the lower deposits. You can also receive a credit limit increase without making an additional deposit after making your first five monthly payments on time. This is beneficial for people who need a higher credit limit and don’t want to (or can’t) tie up their money in a deposit. Also, this card comes with a credit resource center — which is available to everyone — and Platinum Mastercard® benefits that include travel accident insurance and price protection.

And don’t forget to factor in the price of your time. If you’re disputing mistakes on your reports, it can be time consuming, but less so if you hire a professional to do the heavy lifting for you. Either way, it’s important to do what you can to improve your credit scores. After all, better credit opens you up to more opportunities for improved terms and conditions and benefits in the future, potentially saving you thousands on interest over time.
The accounts section contains a detailed history of all accounts (open and closed), your balance, and your payment history associated with each account. You should be able to see month-by-month payment information for 7 years of history. Each month will have a symbol next to it that indicates whether the account was paid as expected or if it was late.
The importance of having a secure payment medium and a standard pricing model cannot be overstated. The purpose of going into any business is to make a profit; once this is not successfully achieved, the sole purpose of venturing into such business has been defeated. The client dispute manager software has been incorporated with resources containing well researched and reliable organization that can provide you with payment channels such as credit card, debit card, virtual checks and processing ACH transactions. If you have an authorize.net account, you will be able to automate your payment right through the software. (All trainings are in video format).

At this point, it’s up to you. Tell the consumer reporting company to send correction notices to anyone who got your credit report over the past six months. They have to comply with your request. A company’s financial performance, and its ability to grow and thrive over time, can be assessed through ratio analysis, the basic evaluation tool for asset management, solvency and profitability. Whether you are managing the financial performance of a department, unit, or the organization as a whole, working with these ratios can help identify opportunities and allow you to make adjustments to improve performance.
While much of the DIY credit repair information available out there can be helpful, the sheer volume can feel overwhelming — not to mention being sure you’re getting the right information. That’s why we’ve put together this short tutorial outlining three easy ways you can fix your credit problems. As with every endeavor, educating yourself on the options available is the crucial first step.

For example, couples that share expenses might find it easier to designate one or the other as an authorized user to avoid passing a single card back and forth to make purchases. Perhaps you have a relative who lives far away, and it would be easier to give them access to your credit account for emergency purchases. You may also have a child that you want to assist in building credit history to increase their credit score. Adding them as an authorized user could help with this, but we’ll cover that more in another section.

In this course, we will discuss fundamental principles of trading off risk and return, portfolio optimization, and security pricing. We will study and use risk-return models such as the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and multi-factor models to evaluate the performance of various securities and portfolios. Specifically, we will learn how to interpret and estimate regressions that provide us with both a benchmark to use for a security given its risk (determined by its beta), as well as a risk-adjusted measure of the security’s performance (measured by its alpha). Building upon this framework, market efficiency and its implications for patterns in stock returns and the asset-management industry will be discussed. Finally, the course will conclude by connecting investment finance with corporate finance by examining firm valuation techniques such as the use of market multiples and discounted cash flow analysis. The course emphasizes real-world examples and applications in Excel throughout. This course is the first of two on Investments that I am offering online (“Investments II: Lessons and Applications for Investors” is the second course). The over-arching goals of this course are to build an understanding of the fundamentals of investment finance and provide an ability to implement key asset-pricing models and firm-valuation techniques in real-world situations. Specifically, upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: • Explain the tradeoffs between risk and return • Form a portfolio of securities and calculate the expected return and standard deviation of that portfolio • Understand the real-world implications of the Separation Theorem of investments • Use the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and 3-Factor Model to evaluate the performance of an asset (like stocks) through regression analysis • Estimate and interpret the ALPHA (α) and BETA (β) of a security, two statistics commonly reported on financial websites • Describe what is meant by market efficiency and what it implies for patterns in stock returns and for the asset-management industry • Understand market multiples and income approaches to valuing a firm and its stock, as well as the sensitivity of each approach to assumptions made • Conduct specific examples of a market multiples valuation and a discounted cash flow valuation This course was previously entitled “Financial Evaluation and Strategy: Investments” and was part of a previous specialization entitled "Improving Business and Finances Operations", which is now closed to new learner enrollment. “Financial Evaluation and Strategy: Investments” received an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on 199 reviews over the period August 2015 through August 2016. You can view a detailed summary of the ratings and reviews for this course in the Course Overview section. This course is part of the iMBA offered by the University of Illinois, a flexible, fully-accredited online MBA at an incredibly competitive price.
