On top of that you can direct the reporting agencies to send that report to anyone who looked into your credit over the last two years if their research was related to your employment.
The key point here, however, is that you can’t go into repair expecting to improve your score by a certain amount. Scores are highly specific to an individual, so changes vary based on your credit history, the number of other penalties you have and where your score was before the item was removed. This is why score improvement guarantees typically indicate a scam.

I had a $10,000 surgery when my medical insurance lapsed. I had to fill out a form with the hospital that stated I could not afford to pay it and they forgave it/never went on my credit. If you make under a certain income, the hospital should help you get those off, call the hospital and ask. It may be too late since it’s in collections already, if that’s the case, don’t pay it because it won’t change the negative impact since it’s already in collections. Wait for it to fall off.
If your ability to pay is severely limited, you may be able to benefit from proper positioning. Collection agencies would rather receive a portion of a debt than deal with a bankruptcy, which leaves it with nothing. Just remember it’s good practice not to sign any agreement that allows you to pay off a part of the debt while allowing the agency to sell the remaining part of the debt to another agency.
