Hi Jack. Thanks for a great article. Along with the services you mention do any of these companies provide coaching too? I have a niece who urgently needs advice as to how to reestablish her credit and handle money going forward. Is that something Sky Blue (for example) provides or does she need to look elsewhere. And if so, do you have any recommendations?

Before we jump into specifically learn how to repair credit fast, the last area that we would like to discuss is the importance of your credit report for fast credit repair. As you will learn in the following section, your credit report plays a major role in your credit score. The stronger your credit report is, the higher your credit score will be. In many cases, people notice fast credit repair simply by taking the time to learn about their credit report and fixing any mistakes that they may find. With that being said, we would like to say that, the first step of fast credit repair always begins with your credit report. Reason being, given the way the credit system works today, many lenders are beginning to look deeper into one’s credit report, deeming it more valuable than 3 simple numbers. Consider this, your credit report includes some of the most pertinent information regarding your financial history, including:
Scott Gibson is the J.E. Zollinger Professor of Finance at the College of William and Mary Mason School of Business. I had a $10,000 surgery when my medical insurance lapsed. I had to fill out a form with the hospital that stated I could not afford to pay it and they forgave it/never went on my credit. If you make under a certain income, the hospital should help you get those off, call the hospital and ask. It may be too late since it’s in collections already, if that’s the case, don’t pay it because it won’t change the negative impact since it’s already in collections. Wait for it to fall off.

Finding a company: The best way to find a legitimate company to use is to look for one that plays by the rules. Credit repair services are required to follow certain guidelines under the law in order to comply with government standards. These include having the option to cancel at any time (which is why most offer month-to-month services), including all services provided in writing, and not paying upfront for work that has not been completed.
"My credit was at an all-time low and I did not know what I was going to do. CreditRepair.com got my credit reports straightened out and I can now go on with my life being able to afford the things that make life worth enjoying again like loans for a home at a reasonable rate instead of being turned down before I even get to first base. Thank you!"
Information that is not yours because of confused names, addresses, etc. Credit reporting agencies may confuse names, addresses, Social Security numbers, or employers. If you have a common name—say, John Brown—your file may contain credit or personal information on other John Browns, John Brownes, or Jon Browns and may lack some of your own credit information. Your file may erroneously contain information on family members with similar names.

"I consider myself thorough and cautious. Having a MBA and a law degree gives me a little perspective on process and structure of information. I love CCA's program. It provides anyone who's interested in becoming a credit consultant the exact process, forms, letters, knowledge, credentials and simply all that is needed without investing tons of cash. The quality and value of the information is second to none in my opinion; the helpdesk is amazing and is the missing link to advancing in this business too. We added a specialized credit service to our company and paid a lot with another organization, but something was missing. We were not as confident in our knowledge of the process but knew the software well. I realized that basically we were only paying to learn how to use a software program but not provided the total insights truly needed on credit improvement to be as effective. I avoided CCA because the others were much higher and I felt maybe they were better. After completion, I realized that it was a mistake to think this and took a second look at CCA. Just know that they are higher in price because of the cost of the software, not the credit repair information or training. The software was good but I needed to understand the process better and CCA was complete and the helpdesk was simply amazing. We could have save thousands but glad we got on board when we did. We send our team members here to learn the process too. Take my advice and learn the credit repair process first, then get the software of your choice second and not the other way around. Jim of CCA tried to share this with me last year before I made that other purchase, but I chose that software package anyway. I would have chosen differently knowing what I know now. I hope this review helps someone to choose CCA for the credit repair process and training first and buy a software program of your choice second. Thanks CCA." -AJ

The fastest way to repair credit is to START NOW. We’ve been repairing credit on a pay per deletion basis for 8 years and the biggest delay we see is the inability of prospects to just get started. I speak to hundreds of clients a year that i first spoke to 3-4 years ago who just now decided to get started. If they started when we first spoke they would have had their credit fixed quickly. Not instantly.
The credit bureaus are required to investigate your dispute and will usually do so within 30 days, according to the Federal Trade Commission. Once you submit your dispute, either online or by writing, the bureau will forward your information to whatever organization provided it with the information in dispute. If you are disputing a late payment by one of your credit card providers, the credit bureau will send your information to that provider.
When the bureaus and data furnishers receive the dispute and supporting information, they will then work with the credit repair company to determine if the item should be removed from your credit report. The major law dictating your rights when it comes to credit reporting is the Fair Credit Reporting Act, but it isn’t the only law on your side when it comes to credit repair.
Exactly like that pie that had all of the kids begging for a slice while it was cooking – it’s only done WHEN it’s done. Bad credit is very similar to that pie; both have a distinct smell inciting a call to action. Biting into a piping hot pie and jumping into a high cost, upfront credit repair plan are absolutely on every top ten list of “things that can burn.”  Some things take the time to bake and then cool while others require a history of doing the right things over a period for the maximum results. Fast credit repair is without question the “drive-thru” of consumer credit restoration – nobody ever knows what’s in the bag until it’s too late.  There is no way to “un-bite” into a sandwich that has the wrong dressing or contains items that may cause an allergic reaction. Millions of consumers who bought into the concept of flash credit fixing may not be experiencing rashes or physical side effects, but every time they check their credit score they wish they could have spit out that decision.
"I started using this program 11 months ago and the results have been amazing! The small monthly fee is worth the work CreditRepair.com does and their customer service is always great! My 503 score 11 months ago is now 647 and only getting better! If you are having issues with your credit don’t stress and use CreditRepair.com, I highly recommend it!"

Once you've paid down the balance of your credit cards, keep your spending on these accounts down. You should aim for a balance that is less than 30% of your credit limit on the card. Don't voluntarily lower credit limits; this can hurt rather than help your FICO® Score. If your credit report doesn't reflect your actual credit limit, make sure your credit card company updates this information with the credit bureaus. In addition to limiting your spending on the accounts you already have, be cautious when any new accounts and don't cancel any old accounts since these help your credit score by demonstrating a longer credit history.
